Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have successfully completed 10+2 (Science stream)
- Must have secured a minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
- Must have scored a minimum 50% marks in English (in 10th or 12th)
- Overall aggregate should be a minimum 60%
- Candidates appearing for 12th can also apply (for upcoming batches)
IMU-CET Requirement
- It is mandatory to appear and qualify in the IMU-CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test)
- Without an IMU-CET qualification, DNS sponsorship is not valid
Age Criteria
- Minimum Age: 17 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Note:- For Scheduled Castes (SC) & Schedule Tribe (ST) Candidates, maximum age relaxation is for five (5) years.
Medical Requirements
- Candidate must be medically fit as per DG Shipping guidelines
- Eyesight: 6/6 vision required (no color blindness)
- Must be certified by a DG Shipping approved doctor
