GP Rating Sponsorship

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Minimum 10th Pass with at least 40% from a recognized board.
• Minimum 40% marks in English subject in either 10th or 12th examination.

Age Criteria

• Between 17 to 28 years at the time of course commencement.

Medical Fitness

• Should be physically fit for sea and should meet the medical standards laid down by the Directorate General of Shipping.

Eye Sight

• Corrective lenses are permitted.
• Maximum permissible vision: 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in better eye & 6/18 in other eye.
• Color blindness is not permitted.
• Minimum Height: 157 cm.
• Minimum Weight: 48 kg.

Instructions for GP Rating Sponsorship

• Selected candidates must complete a 6-month GP Rating Pre-Sea Training course along with mandatory DG Shipping approved modular courses.
• Training will be conducted at our own Premises, Training Ship Varren in Khardi.
• The final allotment of the institute depends on the candidate's performance during the selection process.

Fee Structure & Selection Process

• Training Fees: Approx. ₹6,60,000.
• Medical & Psychometric Test: Approx. ₹6,500.
• Online Test Fee: Approx. ₹1,000.
• Eligible candidates will undergo an Online Entrance Test followed by a Personal Interview.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must bear their own expenses for travel, accommodation and meals.
• Carry original Class 10th, 12th and Degree/Diploma certificates.
• Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
• Final selection criteria and decisions remain solely with Training Ship Varren.

• Valid Indian Passport.
• Original Educational Documents.
• Medical Fitness Certificate (DG Shipping Approved Doctor).
